The cooperative is a young company, wich was born thirteen years ago with olivesgrowing´s association of the area. Its main purpose was its own supply and to grind every member´s olives. Because of their know-how and their constant effort, inmediately, it has found recognition and prestige in this sector.
Nowadays, our production in a year is about 800.000 kg. of extra virgin olive oil, in which 150.000 kg come from the ecological agriculture and the others 650.000 come from the conventional agriculture.
This last years we have endowed the almazara with the best german technology in the market(westfalia), separating the olive oil by fisic process and in two phases, this, let us get very good use of the subproducts, without increasing the temperature of the paste, not over 30º and near the cold production, to avoid the loosing of aroma or taste.
Our olive oil has been awarded with the II prize of cata on the extra virgin olive oil competition "Alimentos de Extremadura Maxima Selección" in 1998, being the first almazara in certificate extra virgin olive oil under the limits of cuality set up by the Appellation d´origin "Aceite de Monterrubio" and certificated by the Extremeño Ecological Agrofood Regulation Council, bottled with the name: Bioaceitel.
